Terms and Conditions for Leading Alpha Bootcamp

Leading Alpha Technologies Ltd (“Leading Alpha,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Nigeria DataProtection Act (NDPA) 2023, the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, and all applicable data protection laws.

By registering or joining the waiting list, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions(“the Terms”). Please read them carefully before participating.

  1. Eligibility

1.1 Participants must be at least 18 years of age.

1.2 Individuals below 18 years may participate only with verified written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

1.3. We reserve the right to deny or revoke participation where:

  • False or misleading information was provided during registration;
  • There is a breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct; or
  • Conduct reasonably threatens the safety, integrity, or reputation of the Bootcamp.

Decisions shall be made fairly and communicated in writing.

  1. Registration, Payment, and Refunds

2.1. Registration is deemed complete only upon confirmation of full payment via our authorized payment processor (Paystack).

2.2. All payments are securely processed and receipts automatically issued.

2.3. Fees are generally non-refundable, except where:

  • The Bootcamp is canceled or rescheduled for reasons not caused by the participant;
  • Refund is required under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA2018).

2.4. Refunds (where applicable) shall be processed within 30 business days after approval.

2.5. Where physical or online access is denied due to the participant’s breach of these Terms, no refund shall apply.

  1. Program Changes and Force Majeure

3.1. We may modify schedules, instructors, venues, or program content to maintain quality or respond to unforeseen circumstances.

3.2. In the event of material changes (such as course cancellation or major restructuring), participants will be notified and may opt to:

  • Accept the revised program; or
  • Request a refund or credit toward a future session

3.3. Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for failure or delay due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, power failures, internet disruptions, government restrictions, or civil unrest

  1. Intellectual Property

4.1. All course materials, training slides, recordings, videos, and tools provided during the Bootcamp remain the exclusive intellectual property of Leading Alpha Technologies Ltd.

4.2. Participants are granted a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use materials strictly for learning purposes.

4.3. Participants shall not copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, modify, or publicly display any Bootcamp materials without written consent from Leading Alpha.

4.4. Any work or project developed solely by a participant remains their property. If developed in collaboration with Leading Alpha, ownership shall be joint unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  1. Conduct and Participation

5.1. Participants must maintain professional conduct and respect toward instructors, staff, and other participants.

5.2. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior;
  • Unauthorized recording, sharing, or commercial use of Bootcamp sessions;
  • Misuse of confidential or proprietary information.

5.3. Violation of this clause may result in removal from the Bootcamp after fair hearing, without entitlement to refund.

5.4. A Code of Conduct shall supplement this clause and be binding on all participants.

  1. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

6.1. The Bootcamp is designed for educational and informational purposes only. Leading Alpha does not guarantee financial success, profits, or particular results from the use of its materials.

6.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leading Alpha shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses;
  • Trading or investment decisions made based on Bootcamp content; or
  • Losses arising from participant negligence or technical issues.

6.3. Our total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the participant for the Bootcamp.

  1. Data Privacy and Communications

7.1. By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information(e.g., name, contact, payment details) in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023).

7.2. Data will be used solely for:

  • Program administration;
  • Communication of updates, reminders, or promotional offers;
  • Statutory reporting or dispute resolution.

7.3. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time

7.4. Our full Privacy Policy is available on our website and forms part of these Terms.

  1. Indemnity

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Leading Alpha, its employees, and affiliatesagainst all claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Breach of these Terms;
  • Unauthorized use of materials; or
  • Violation of any law or third-party rights during or after participation.

  1. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

9.1. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through negotiation.

9.2. Where unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC) for mediation before litigation.

9.3. If mediation fails, the matter shall be submitted to the High Court of Lagos State, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

9.4. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified or severed to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any referenced policies (including the Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between Leading Alpha and the participant and supersede any prior representations or agreements.
